"Just Bert'n Around" - Alaska 2016 with Larry and Mike
In August 2016 Larry and myself were able to join Mike Wirth on his annual trip to Alaska. While in Alaska a friend of my daughter's asked what is your dad up to? Nick's summary to her recap was "He is just Bert'n Around!" She thought about it for a second and said, you know, that just became a thing! So thanks Nick for my new catch phrase!
We will be sharing pictures and stories of what is now our first annual trip to Alaska!
We will discuss how we were able to keep our expenses down by sharing costs and booking everything ourselves.
We will answer questions like were there bears? What is everyone's fascination with Silvers? Why on our steelhead trip Bert kept saying to Larry "I miss the pinks!"
Join us for this lively, informal, show and tell to get a glimpse of what Alaska was like to a couple of first timers.
